Default Slow Review Times

Anyone seeing a slowdown on review times at several sites? I recently signed up with a few new ones in anticipation of the changeover at WG and at first everything was being reviewed in a couple business days. Now things seem to be languishing, with some dating back to the 14th. Kinda frustrating, since I was hoping to gauge the turnaround at those sites so I could start ramping up usage in January.

Yeah I've definitely noticed a slowdown. Waiting for articles to get approved is one of my biggest pet peeves about writing online. I hate that my paycheck for work I've already done depends on someone else's schedule. So frustrating!

I got a very easy writing job at a decent rate with plenty of work, but after 10 days no one had reviewed my first article. I contacted the company and the project manager told me that review times usually take 3 to 4 weeks. Then the client has to approve the articles. After that it takes a few days for me to get paid. Unbelievable.

Anyway, I am so tired of being at the mercy of other people. I really have to aggressively market myself to clients in my niche so I can get a 50% deposit before I even start work. It seems to be the only way to get paid on your own terms.

I so feel your frustration. It's beyond annoying.
