Default NAA Green Flag

Finally snagged my first article on NAA and submitted it yesterday. Woke this morning to find it was accepted and it was awarded a green flag. NAA long-timers, can you tell what that means? Apparently it's a good thing, but I wonder how one gets awarded a flag.

I have a few green flags and, like you, received one on my first article about a month ago. I know it means that the client liked your work but I don't know exactly why they're given out.

Default Green flags

Green flags are given by the proof readers when you turn in a well written article that is free of grammatical and spelling mistakes. It has nothing to do with the client, because you generally receive them before the client has even accepted the article. They are also used to determine when it is time to give you a bonus.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought it was similar to how Interact Media rated. They let the clients decide how well the writers do on the work.
