Default Tb uk

Anyone read the news this morning about the new TB UK site? I am in America, but I think it is a good opportunity for all the Canada and Europe gals. I know sometimes people in non-American countries can't apply to certain content sites so it is nice they will have something just for them.

Canadians who are fluent in French should check out TextBroker.fr

TB has a French language site that usually has plenty of work.

I won't call myself fluent, but I know enough after five years of French to know that Quebecois French and French French can often be very different. For two years, I studied under a teacher from Montreal and thought I knew French pretty well. Then I switched to a teacher who was from Nice and a huge percentage of what I learned was completely different. After excelling in French for those three years, I went up to Montreal and no one knew what I was saying with certain words and phrases.

I wonder if Americans would be able to sign up for the UK site.

If not, I worry that TB UK will reduce the amount of work available to Americans because many of clients on TB came from the UK. If they stop contracting at TextBroker.com, then we will have fewer assignments.

I really hope that they'll let Americans get on board.

I just went to register, and this is what I was told:

"Due to US tax regulations, US citizens may only register as authors at our textbroker.com site.

We would be happy to welcome you as author for textbroker.com. Please come visit us at textbroker.com and sign up for your free author account. "

This really bites.

They said in their mass email that less than 10% of clients who post work on Textbroker US are based internationally. It shouldn't affect things too much. Some of these clients may also continue offering work to US writers whom they established good relationships with.
