Default Still looking :)

Hello
I am still looking to write medical/health articles. There are no good medical/health articles with DM. Livestrong said no because my training/schooling is not what they are looking for. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks so much.

Do you follow freelancewritinggigs.com? I've seen a few medical writing positions listed in the "writing gigs" section.

I feel for you. I used to write eHow articles a lot for DS on medical topics b/c I have some rare pelvic and bladder conditions. Even though my degree is in Communications and marketing, I was able to pump out these topics because I learned so much about vaginal and bladder conditions while I went through a battle trying to get diagnosed. I also enjoyed getting more content on the web about these conditions.

Now that they moved all health title to LS, I am sad not to be able to write them anymore.

You could make some Hubs on Hubpages.com and try to build up some residual income.

Every once in a while, Textbroker will have some decent health articles to choose from. I've done one on ADHD in children and a few of diet/nutrition related articles. You gotta be quick though...those good titles get snatched up in a hurry. The pay isn't that great, but at level 4 it isn't terrible either. Plus I really enjoy writing them when I can pick them up so they don't take that long and I don't mind not making quite as much. Good luck! =)
