Default HubPages Success Stories

Found the link below at the HubPages blogs - quite inspiring to read people making that kind of money. Signed up a while back but didn't really make an effort. Guess it takes time to get things rolling out there, but this sure is encouraging - think should really give it a honest try. The link I mentioned above is this,

HubPages Success Stories

Anyone who has a decent number of articles up at HubPages? If so, what has your experience been? When did you start making serious money?

Hi Lori, I have been at HP for 20 months now. I have published 111 hubs and have accumulated 611 fans/followers. I started writing online right there at Hubpages and have enjoyed the experiences and learning opportunities. It took me 8 months to make my very first $100.00 pay out. Six months later I made another pay out, four months after that another and presently I am on track to hopefully make the next pay out next month, which would be 4 months from the previous. ( My ultimate goal is monthly pay outs.)For those who have the time to more quickly find a niche and publish one hundred hubs, pay outs can come more quickly. Once the first couple of pennies accumulate it is the sign that the Google engine has found you and the earning will begin.

Default Question about HubPages

I noticed in your post, you said "For those who have the time to more quickly find a niche and publish one hundred hubs, pay outs can come more quickly." My question is does anyone know if you can set up more than one account there with different user IDs? For instance, do you think it is possible or better to have a different ID for each niche?

Thanks!

Yes, they allow multiple accounts. I'm not sure if it would be better, but if you wanted to keep things separated, you could.

I have been doing really well with hubpages. I know that a lot of the top hubbers have more then one account. They have stated that they do it for a number of reasons. The first is to have a separate name and presence for each niche they write on. Some do it so that other writers will not copy what they do. I have also read that a reason that they do this is that it can be hard to keep track of your hubs when you have a few hundred on one account.

I only have one account right now, but I definitely see how setting up another one may be beneficial.

Some really nice earnings from one site. Makes me think I need to get on the ball and start writing my own articles for change. Thanks for the encouraging link!

Thanks for the info! Yea, I can see where it might be a little easier to keep up with, especially if you are going to write a lot on several different niches.

I signed up but haven't started yet. I would be thrilled earning $500/mo passively!
