I applied for it late last month and didn't hear anything from them yet. I once did turn in the sample article but they claimed that the spot was all filled and just a week or two ago, the spots are open. So unfair.
There are other companies that I know besides to apply for more writing work. And some of them pay weekly too just like this one.

I just searched and found the thread from the middle of July. Did anyone who applied then get accepted to write for this company?

I know of several people that applied and got in. I got my sample in too late as the positions were all filled. I might send them a follow up to see if new positions are open. That is the way with companies. They get an influx of people that want to work then a bunch fall by the wayside.

How much do they pay? Depends on volume, but starts at $4 per 400 word piece - really super easy articles

When do they pay? Every Friday via Paypal

How long is the response time when you apply? Depends. I think they hire in batches.

How much work is available in the content pool? It's neverending. lol. They email you sets of 10, as soon as you finish one set, they send another. Work as much as you want.

Information regarding this company is greatly appreciated. I need another egg. Don't let the per piece rate fool you. My average is still around 3 hours for a 10 article set (except this one education-related project we've been getting articles for lately, but those pay more anyway) As your volume for the week goes up, so does your per piece rate. Under 50 per week is $4 each, over 50, over 75, over 100, over 125, each milestone means your per piece rate increases. I average about $15-16 per hour with this contract. It makes a nice filler for my print & private client work. No searching for titles, no confusing guidelines, just 10 articles at a time delivered to my inbox every morning Mon-Fri. And my editor is a doll!

I just applied with Valley Direct Media today. We will see what happens. I don't even care about the low rates as long as it is weekly pay. I have applied for the Content Authority today also and just want to apply for weekly pay gigs.

***Need-an-Article is not in my radar.***

Real Media Group is another company that pays weekly too. Unfortunately, I didn't get in but have no idea if there's any writers on here who currently write for them.
