Default Just a little DS FYI

I dont know what is going on over there lately but I sent in three rejection appeals in January. Two of which should most definetly be approved. Both I made the exact repairs the article needed and the third I think the editor was stressed cuz she asked for things that were already there.

Long story short... I have heard nothing and its been three months.

I just appealed a rejection, but haven't heard back yet. The CE said my writing was great and just needed to add a new step. I did that and it came back as a rejection. The CE then said that my writing was confusing and he/she tried to fix it, but just couldn't understand what I was trying to say. Funny how it went from great to confusing in the span of an hour!

My overall rejection rate is still low, but I've had a couple of these new travel articles rejected, which worried me enough that I went back to writing eHow stuff. Some of the people on the DS forums have a 10% rejection rate this month and last month just because of those articles!

Are travel articles worth $15? Are they the Trails.com articles, and are they in list format?

The ones I was talking about pay $20 and they're for some unnamed travel publication. It's not really worth it though. I had a couple of articles that I spent over an hour on because of rewrite requests and a few articles ended up being 800 words or more by the time I got done adding all the information. I sold a bunch of travel articles through Helium, back when the Marketplace was really big and spent a lot less time researching and writing, for a lot more pay, even when you factor in the articles that weren't bought!
