Default Where do you get your Suite 101 ideas?

I just got accepted to Suite 101 and I'm starting to think about my first article. I'm just curious where you get ideas for your Suite 101 articles.

Do you just write about what you know? Focus on current events? Get ideas from other sources? Is choosing a keyword phrase that has good search volume and not too many of results as important for Suite as it would be if you were using the phrase as a blog concept?

I have no problem coming up with ideas for eHow articles, but for some reason I'm finding it tough to come up with ideas for Suite articles.

I have a ton of old articles sitting in my folders that I'm using to rewrite and submit. These were all on popular topics so I think they will do well on Suite 101. Plus, I've bought 2 domains that I plan on building over the next year on topics that I can link my Suite 101 articles to as well.

It's an experiment / work in progress so meh. I'll see how it goes LOL.

I get a lot of my ideas from things I see in mags and on t.v. (like on Good Morning America and Fox News). Once I have an idea and start doing SEO, I almost always get other ideas stemming from the original.

Good Luck at Suite!

I write mostly in the health and wellness niche, but sometimes branch out into other topics. I get ideas from magazines, newspaper articles, and even questions and postings on message boards. I also read lots of medical journals which are always full of ideas in my niche. After I have a few ideas, I do keyword research using the Google adwords tool. One way to get ideas is to go to a popular article database such as Ezinearticles and see which articles were the most highly viewed. You can see this by category by clicking on any article and looking at the bottom of the page under "most viewed". This shows what people are interested in. Hope this helps. :-)

Thanks for the tips! I like the idea of using magazines and message boards. I'll have to check out Ezinearticles, too. This really helps!
