Default Human Rewriter

Hello ladies,

I'm not a work at home mom but I signed up with your site in order to issue you a warning about The Human Rewriter. DO NOT get mixed up with them. I will say up front that I was terminated by them but this is not just sour grapes. I have a job and this was just extra money for me. My husband and I are doing fine so I have absolutely no reason to lie.

I joined The Human Rewriter and I will say that you do get a lot of work and they do pay you promptly. That's the truth. However, you will get to a point where they will simply drop you without any warning. I was working on a couple of articles recently and had to run some errands so I took a break. I came back, went to my computer, tried to log on and I couldn't get in. I sent a message to the company and they unceremoniously said that my account had been shut down because of "massive failures"

I had a 100% approval rate of the rewrites I did. The company will tell you that the approval rate does not really mean anything because it's just an auto approval and the customer can still complain. If that is the case, why is it that I was only informed of these "massive failures" TODAY. Why wasn't I told earlier that my work was not up to par. What legitimate company do you know of will not give an employee a warning if thier work has been sub par so that the employee can have a chance to bring up their game. I don't mind if my work had problems, or even if I got docked for it. My problem is that this company will completely blind side you and not give you a solid explanation of why they no longer want to use you and they will not give you an opportunity to "meet with your accusers" so to speak. Why wasn't I told ahead of time my work was falling off? Think about it.

I know I am a good writer and this will not discourage me. I'll be fine. I just could not let this event go by without warning people about what The Human Rewriter did. For your sake and the the sake of your kids ladies, pass on the Human Rewriter and look for other opportunities. Thanks for listening.

I did a search for People Powered Content LLC and not much showed up other than what we already know. It is a very low risk to actually submit a rewrite, that is, if you actually pass the test. If you think it would be something you enjoy, I would check it out as long as they are not asking for money upfront.

Let us know how it works out.

Ladywilson, thanks for the warning. I wonder who else they just terminated people without warning. So sorry that happened to you but right now, am struggling financially since my goal for this year was to get my own vehicle but with the little money that I get each month, there is no way I am able to save any each month.

I know that I need to try to write 10 articles a day at least so then I could try to outearn what I am making now. Tired of opportunities that gave me hope and then turn me down. My baby number four is due any day now and will have baby girl number four. My other ones are 8, 5 and a 2 year old. They can't wait to meet her even though for now, the youngest doesn't really understand.

ladywilson

thanks for the warning and sorry that it happened to you.

I applied with them, took the tests, passed them, but have not heard anything else from them for two weeks.

Default Seems Legit So Far

I was doing some searches on the Human ReWriter, just to learn a little more about the company, and I can across this site. I am a mommy at home, who was looking for some extra income.
For those of you interested in the Human Rewriter job, I have been doing rewrites for a few weeks. After I applied, my application was accepted almost immediately. About three weeks later, I heard back from my rewriting samples I submitted and was 'hired' to do rewrites.
I don't have much professional writing experience, other than writing through school and college, master thesis, etc, but I am a perfectionist and have a knack for writing well. I'm at home with my little boy right now, and was just looking for a way to supplement my husband's income a little until the economy picks up and I can find a job in my field.
Pretty much everything they say is truthful: Roughly .09 cents per sentence, depending on the length, and you definitely get faster the more you do it. An average rewrite is about 2.50- 3.00, and it takes me about 20-25 minutes. I am personally much faster with the article rewrites (as opposed to sentences), which pay more (about $4, for 20-25 minutes of work).
As I stated, I'm not a professional writer, and I would bet I actually overdo the minimal that is needed-- but if I do something, I like to do it well. That being said, I am probably making roughly minimum wage, maybe sometimes under. On the other hand, it's not a job that I am focusing 100% attention on. I'm either writing while my little guy is playing next to me, or at night when husband and baby are making a lot of noise. I earned about $30 the first week (just a few days); $50 the next; $60 the next; on target for probably $75-$100 this week.
Will you get rich? No way. Can you support yourself? Maybe if you worked 8 hours a day every day, you could pay a portion of your bills. (I don't have that luxury of time). Can you earn enough to pay a few utilities or pay for your groceries, or extras each month-- certainly. Pay is made every Friday night. I have yet to have a problem with pay, or acceptance, but again, I haven't been doing it terribly long.
The only real con I see is that I think the service is underpaid (by the clients, which effects a low pay for the writers). But I also wonder to, if I'm just doing way to much work than is actually needed. If I didn't try to make the best sentence possible, on top of rewriting the content, I would probably be making much more per hour.
At first I had a little issue with just being a someone that helps others out of plagiarism, but who am I to judge-- it's some income for me, and I have no idea whether it's their content or not. Plus, the more I have seen, it appears that many of the clients just need various ideas, and the service is just so cheap-- who wouldn't take advantage of it?
Hope this helps any of you thinking about trying it!

I was recently doing research in this area and just want to say that while I'm sure some clients might abuse the system and give stolen content for rewrite to a company like this or to a rewriter, that that would not be true all the time.

Human rewriters are used to change PLR. Many site owners purchase PLR and then want it changed to be unique, or to have multiple versions for their number of niche sites that they own.

***Btw, I think this particular company "Human Rewriters" is an upsell of an article spinning service.

I find it interesting that two people made it their first post here at wahm.com to warn and encourage people to try this website ...

Default Thanks for the welcome

I posted because I was skeptical of the whole thing at first, and worried about giving it a shot, which seems to be the sentiment of many others. I researched about two months ago, and didn't see this forum.

My purpose was not to encourage anyone to sign up, only to put to ease in others the same worry that I had when applying, and let people know what to expect. I don't think broadcasting that you are going to make minimum wage (much less if you figure in the SE tax) is encouraging. It certainly isn't for me. I'm doing it because the post graduate degree I hold is doing absolutely nothing for me right now and I need whatever I can find to help pay the bills.

Sorry to try to be of help to anyone out there-- I see why many people just keep their mouth shut and don't offer their two cents, even when it can be of assistance to someone else. I may be an 'outsider' of the forums, but that does not diminish the validity of what I have to say.

Hopefully no one will get screwed over by some scam company because someone chose not to say something; Hopefully, some stay at home mom will not lose a valuable opportunity out of fear, because someone decided not to speak up.
Thanks for the warm welcome and the judgment.

When I worked for them they do pay on time, the only issues i had were:

1. When I did a rewrite the issues that they said I was being let go over seemed to be more a matter of opinion more then anything else, but that comes with any writing job. The writer says it one way but the editor feels it should go another when in fact either one would work, but if the editor doesn't agree then your out.

2. The work is auto accepted after so many hours so when you think it is all going good, it actually may not be and then you get let go like what happened to ladywilson.
