Hey. I was wondering how do you make money on Bright Hub? What kind of site is it?

Bright Hub pays $10 per article and then residuals based on page views.

Lorie is correct; the up front pay is $10 per article and you also get revenue sharing based on page views. Once your traffic starts to grow, you will start to see better residual payments. I made about $70 last month on revenue share alone. If your channel editor allows you to pick your own keywords, picking keywords with low competition and a decent number of searches per day can help you grow your traffic quickly (I get the most traffic from my articles that are ranked #1, 2 or 3 for Google searches on those keywords).

Contributing editors are paid $3 per article edited. Because each channel has a monthly article limit, I wouldn't recommend signing up as a CE only; your best chance for making money is to both write and edit.

That's one of the "cons" of Bright Hub. Things vary by channel, so it can be confusing for new writers. Ask your managing editor (ME) where to find article opportunities. I'm an ME, and I use a Google spreadsheet for assignments. Writers are given the link and can access the sheet at any time and sign up for articles they want to write. Some editors put up a post in the channel community; others have writers suggest their own topics.

No, you're not missing anything. BH can be quite difficult to navigate for a new (or even established) writer.

Default About the BrightHub writing site

I got accepted to be their language learner. I am mad at the lady who claim to not receive my writing sample and have been waiting ever since that second time she claim she didn't get it.
Where the heck can I find the writing work and how long do I have to wait to get a reply back to her? Seem like she is slow on that.
I want to start making money on that site but without any speedy response back from her, how can I make any money?
I am making some at Ehow and some other non writing sites.
I need to make more though. And expecting a fourth child next year is not making things easier on me.

I can't speak to what's going on with your application, but I do know that in the Language Learning channel, you must send article ideas to the managing editor for approval. If you have access to the Language Learning discussion channel, you can download the October Content Plan to give you an idea of the available spots by topic.

Where in the Language Learning channel can I download that October Content Plan? I don't see it.
I tried looking for it but I can't find it.
