I just started writing for BH about 2 months ago. I write for the Fitness and Exercise channel, the Home Office one, DIY Decorating, Home Improvement, and the Desktop Publishing Channel. I enjoy writing for most of them because there is not much required, one of the channels though, the editor is really picky and requires quite a few things to be included(pics, links to BH articles related, etc.)

I like the fact we can go in and see what is available and choose what we want to write about. The only thing I don't like is how long it takes to get paid. But I am eager to see how my ad revenue grows over time too the more articles I do.

I hope you get in to BH. You should enjoy it, and there seems to be tons of work once you get past the 5 article restriction that exists for the first month or whatever it is.

I am glad to see I'm not the only one who finds BrightHub confusing. Their power point training presentations were so long and monotonous that I never finished them. Now and then I log on to their home page and think I'll start up again, but since the navigiation of the site isn't a no-brainer, I get lost and give up. I guess I need to try harder. I am glad to read that some of you are loving it and figuring it out. This gives me some motivation to try again! Most of my eggs are in the Demand Studios basket, so I think it would be smart of me to diversify. If anyone has any more Bright Hub tips they'd like to share I would appreciate it! Thanks to everyone who has posted on this thread.

BUMPING this thread instead of starting another...

When you're new is the 5 a month cap just for the upfront pay channels? Or is the cap also on residual only channels? Thanks.

I found the power points and the lay out of the site a little confusing myself. So I decided earlier in the week just to jump in and write my first article by looking at the layout of others in my channel. I only made one or two formatting errors and the CE was SUPER NICE and fixed them for me and showed me how to do it correctly for the future.

I definitely like it there and am excited to write more.
