I'm considering applying to Suite 101. I've knocked it in the past because it is a revenue share company, but I read an article where a woman claimed that she pays her mortgage through her Suite 101 monthly residual earnings.

So, before I apply (and possibly waste my time), I thought I'd head over here and ask you ladies how much you are making. Below, I've included a small questionnaire, if you can answer it I'd love you forever.

1. How much do you earn per month with Suite 101?
2. How many articles do you have on Suite 101?
3. How long have you been writing with them?
4. How long did it take for you to see substantial earnings rolling in?

Thanks to all who respond!

I'm new to Suite, but I can already tell its going to be profitable. Also, the terms of service prevent anyone from revealing EXACTLY how much they make.

I can't answer your questions because I've only just started, but I did want to say that I earned more in two weeks with Suite than I did my entire first month on eHow, and I have only 15 articles there.

I would highly recommend applying. On the internal Suite forums, there are TONS of success stories from writers who make hundreds of dollars per month.

Good luck, and hopefully some more tenured writers can give you a better feel for what it's like there long term.

I'm also new to Suite 101 and am very pleased with my earnings.During my first week, I earned more than my first month at eHow with fewer articles.

This is only my second week at Suite101 and I have 7 articles.

I would also recommend applying.

Hope this helps!

Between Suite 101, ehow, and DS revshare, what would you work on first, second, and last? (I'm trying to walk around asking specifically about the Suite 101 earnings.)

- Suite 101 - make more than ehow?
- Ehow - Can crank out good articles every 20-30 minutes.
- DS revshare - guaranteed $5 flat fee paid once a month even if the article is a dud

I haven't applied to Suite 101 yet, but I'm tempted to do so and dump DS except when I need the flat fee money badly. I think ehow is good because I can publish articles fast. I don't currently have enough time to work on everything, so something has to go.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I've been writing with Ehow since June 2008, DS since late 2008 and I just started with Suite about a week ago. I've never done too much with DS because I like the idea of residual/passive income so I'm concentrating on Ehow and Suite. )

jmw1 - In my experience, I'd work on ehow first, suite 101 second, and DS rev share last.

Ehow is the easiest, as I'm sure you know, and the income potential is huge. Suite 101 takes a bit longer, which is the only reason I place it 2nd, but it appears to have even more potential than ehow for generating income.

DS rev share is a dud, in my opinion. You may get a $5.00 bonus, but you can only earn on your articles for 5 years. I don't see any of my ehow articles, even the lowest earners, not being able to make twice that in five years, and they'll continue earning forever.

That's been my personal experience. Hope it helps!

My monthly earnings have grown every month, but sometimes not by much. We aren't allowed to give exact numbers. I've been there for over a year and a half and have 116 articles up.

My earnings really jumped when I was made a feature writer. You get a daily bonus, plus you get extra pages where you can earn, like a blog of your own on the site. You also get more exposure for your articles, so the difference is pretty substantial. I also got a raise a couple of months ago for hitting the 100-article milestone, and that helped a lot as well.

My own prioritizing right now is DS rev shares first, because the upfront payment won't be around forever, then eHow because it's quick and easy and then Suite101 because those articles take more time.

I have roughly the same amount of eHow WCP articles as I do Suite101 articles and my Suite101 pay each month is at least 5x my eHow

here's how I work- I'm allowed 15 revshare & 15 flatrate articles at DS- deadlines are each Sunday night. So I try to keep every one of them DONE- awaiting review because right now I need the fast cash.

Then, when it's all done with, i write for Examiner (4 articles required/week) then Suite (1xwk) then eHow (lowest pay)

I end up writing for DS all weekend, and then being a mom and a Suite/examiner writer during the week. For the past few weeks I've had big web design jobs from rentacoder that I work on during the week, too.

If I didn't need the immediate cash, I'd focus most of my effort on Suite101, followed by Examiner, and then eHow or my own sites.

I think it's Angela England that quotes Suite pays her mortgage. If I hadn't lost my house last year I could say that but right now I can say that it pays my rent and my phone bill and my electricity. And I just bought the cutest purse, but I guess that's over the top, isn't it.

Wow, that's really encouraging. I applied for Suite101 once, but was denied. It was my own fault as my samples were really not that great. I want to apply again though because I feel I would be approved if I put more effort into it.

Question: Can you submit samples from articles you have already published? Or do they need to be original?

I'm curious what topics seem to do the best atSuite101 in regards to revenue?

By glancing at Alexa it seems their psychology section is very popular.
