I have signed my contract and am looking forward to my first conference call tomorrow.

They are super organized and it seems like a huge project. I can keep you posted.

Have you already scheduled a conference call? I've been waiting to hear about a conference call, but I guess I wasn't selected. I signed a non-disclusre on Sunday, but haven't heard anything back about a conference call or anything. Is that typical?

AfterI signed my non-disclosure and submitted my sample, it was a delay of about 5 days and thenI recieved an offer with my sample edited. Once i accepted that I was offerd a contract with a lot of HR forms, etc.
I am not sure what is typical.

If i learn anything today, I will post it here.

I printed out the non-discloure agreement but have been undecided about sending it in. Does it really take an hour to write the articles? I would do it if it took less, but the pay doesn't seem to suit the complexity they are describing.

Essentially, they are talking about writing one article per hour at a rate of $10 per article. I can write an article in 15-30 minutes, depending on the topic. But, if they KNOW it will take an hour (how I can't imagine), then it must be some very involved article writing. Hopefully, Froggydel will let us all know when seh finds out.

I had signed up with them a little before the original post here. It took a while to get all the paperwork and conference calls out of the way, but I started writing for them Friday. Since you make up your own topics (following their guidelines) you can write about things you know. They also have topics to choose from. I have only written about 8 or so, but the other night I wrote 7 of them in about 2 hours. Of course that was on subjects I knew without doing any research at all. You also have to make sure and adhere to the style guides and the rules. That makes it take a little longer, but worth it to me. So far this has been a great company to work with. They welcome and answer any questions you may have. I want to see if they are still accepting writer because my sister wants to write for them also.
