Thanks for the posts and for the insight.
I like to write and always wondered if I
might make any money from it.

One of the best places to find leads for writing gigs is:

http://forums.writersweekly.com/viewforum.php?f=4

The owner of that site researches and calls around to find new gigs to
post each week and really puts a lot of effort into it. So much effort,
in fact, that others have come along and plaigarized directly from her
site, which is totally illegal, but some folks don't understand the
whole concept of copyright violation.

Great site, though, and she also has a weekly e-newsletter that's fabulous and a message forum for writers on her site.

EDIT--Every time someone adds to this topic, new readers take a look
and I get a slew of emails from this post. So, I thought I would hop
in here and edit my original comments....

I am not currently actively pursuing additional help. When I have
extra assignments, etc. available, I am finding writers through the
message board at WriterWrangler.com. I invite any content writers
looking for work to join the forum there.

**********

I am looking for some reliable content writers for general interest articles. I am not paying a heap per word, but a talented writer can definitely make it a profitable experience.

I have hired writers from WAHM before and have generally been pretty happy with those I have encountered here.

If anyone has an interest, please email me at cdbrack@gmail.com or use the small form located on the blog noted in my signature.

You will also want to visit my blog (link below in my signature), as I have links to great online writing opportunities, including a link to the infamous Deb Ng's blog. Look to the right on the sidebar for Online Writing Jobs and scroll down for more Freelance Writing Opportunties.

Enjoy!
