Try http://www.internetbrands.com/ib. They pay $10 per 400-500 words article. I have been writing for them for quiet sometime and have been paid on time every single time.

Thanks

Xomba is fantastic. I have a link to it my signature, but you don't have to use it. I bookmark everything I do with Xomba, and you can also write articles on the site. Not only do you get to use any links you want, you also get a Google share of the revenue from the page. Triond also gives a revenue share now as long as you have at least five articles.

I currently am a voice-over artist, singer, and writer. I've done articles for a few of these sites. My favorite is Demand Studios.

I spent many years as a computer trainer, teaching people how to use various software applications. Unfortunately, I developed serious, chronic health issues.

As a person with physical disabilities, I require work I am able to do at home and at my own pace. Demand Studios has been a huge blessing to me, allowing me to earn an income and stay off social security disability. Other sites provide a small, rev share stream of income, but DS has been much more substantial for me.

I wanted to post this because sometime I only post here when I have an issue. Thanks, Demand Studios, for helping me retain my dignity.

Joniv, with regards to Demand Studios, how stringent are they in accepting someone who doesn't really have a resume in the writing or copy editing aspect, but they're done a bit of writing and proof reading in their own spare time for fun?

I haven't sent in my application yet, since I'm still composing a humorous writing sample.

I don't write for DS but I have heard from several writers and copy editors that they are very stringent with their copy editor requirements. In fact, I think it says on their website that copy editors need to have 5 years of experience in the industry.

Did you send in your humorous writing sample yet?

Question Update the OP?

Is there some way the the original post in this thread can be edited with updated information?

Being a Good Little Newbie, I'm reading through all the "Start Here!" posts and getting acquainted with job sources and how all this works. Reading through the sticky, "Looking for work?" I noticed the link to WorkForCash. Going to their website in hopes of planting another egg, I was greeted with this:

Important Announcement For Writers Write For Cash will be temporarily shutting down at the end of May in order to focus attention on other types of content. All previously submitted articles will be reviewed and payments made by the first of June. You will also have until Monday, May 30 to submit any articles currently in your queue. As of today, no new article titles may be claimed. Thank you for all your hard work and excellent content. Be assured that you will receive an email notice from WriteForCash when we have more freelance work available.

Thought I'd come here and mention that development, but did a quick WAHM Google search first to see whether that notification had already been posted by anyone else. Sure enough, a whole thread had been dedicated to this development...

...back in (ahem) 2005.

(see Write for Cash - Temporarily Closing [Archive] - WAHM Forums - WAHM.com)

That's a long hiatus, WorkForCash!

If possible, it would be helpful were the OP to be updated. Overall, I am very grateful for all the posts and leads and suggestions I'm happening upon here at WAHM. I've been approved and have signed up with two companies so far, have submitted articles, and am awaiting my first "yea" or "nay" responses. Pins and needles of excitement!

I recently got turned down for Demand due to 1 rejected article and I'm feeling pretty bad about it. Thanks for the leads in this thread!
