Libby, I applied to Life Tips in January. Although I was accepted at
that time, they had nothing for me at that time. I heard from them
recently and completed a major project. It was worth the wait because
the project was quite lucrative.



Don't write them off yet!

Thanks for the encouraging post! I don't mind waiting if something will eventually pay off, but there seems to be so many scams and people that say they want you, but just never reply :-( At least now I know Lifetips is a good one!

Hey Libby! I also applied to Lifetips about a month ago, never heard back from them, and emailed them two days ago to find out what the status of my app was. Still no reply. I think I will just try and forget about this one, and then hopefully when they do reply, I'll be surprised

entries for an anthology of real stories from real mothers about the
choices they make in raising their children – choices that sometimes
buck popular opinion and sometimes agree with it. It focuses on
decisions and events that may make parents feel guilty, and more
importantly, why they shouldn’t. </font></a>

those stories that are accepted, the publisher will pay up to $100 for
stories of 1,000-2,000 words and $25 for short anecdotes (250-500
words), along with a free copy of the published book.</font></a>

should be real occurrences that reflect the things that may make moms
feel guilty, but rarely cause lasting damage (e.g., when you let your
4-year-old use the scissors and she cut the dog’s hair). They should
not be manifestos or social essays on parenting issues (although they
may potentially address some hot-button issues like co-sleeping or
breastfeeding), but rather real accounts of individual choices. We’re
looking for “regular moms,” not necessarily professional writers -
although it helps if you can express yourself well in writing. </font></a>
