I've read a lot of the replies here, but not every single one so I apologize if I'm duplicating what someone else said... at any rateExaminer.com is looking for writers. I am the National Pastors & Ministers Examiner there - You can see my articles at http://www.examiner.com/x-7680-Pasto...ister-Examiner (though I've been on hiatus for a bit). But I do enjoy it! They're really good to work with.

You can read the details at http://www.examiner.com/refer - if you give them my name and you're accepted, I get a bonus for the referral, but that's not mandatory. ;o) Hopeto see you there!

To write for Examiner, do you need to be in a large city? I live in a very rural area of Northern New York State, but I'm not sure if they hire rural writers.

Anyone know?

Thanks,
Debbie

Most regional Examiners, I believe, are from larger cities. But you can also apply to be a National Examiner which deals more with a general topic area rather than just a region. SO you could still write for them.
