Hi ladies,

I've been writing for arty newspapers and magazines for a long time in Chicago - it's been fun but they don't pay anything.

I moved to the country now and have different priorities - I want to put my writing to work for me.

I'm really creative and a strong writer. I'm curious how you working ladies got started. All the writing I've done so far is pretty wild and wacky, with the exception of some interviews.

Can anyone tell me: what's a good first step? Thanks!

It all depends on what kind of writing you want to do. Web content? Traditional freelancing? Fiction?

I've personally focused on web content because it's accessible and easy.

Hi

I am also looking for a writer for a blog. Please PM me about your
rates per blog post for a start. The topic for the blog is of internet
marketing and copywriting nature. ( prefer writer with topic experience; if you are not experienced on this topic, but can write very well, I can provide you with content you can work with... )

If it all works out well, the writer will be writing for the blog everyday.

Thanks!

Write for Cash is not taking any new writers and Just articles requires you to pay money.

I have a couple of entry positions for message board posting.

Topics are real estate, money management, bingo, poker, general gambling. Please do not apply if any of these topics are unpleasant to you. Our message boards are there to help consumers better understand the topics.

These freelance positions start out at very low pay, but if you do a good job and are self motivated raises are constant. ( I have to do it that way because of several bad experiences with unfulfilled contracts).

You will join 3 other posters and we are a friendly community and work as a team. We also have bloggers and writers and web developersworking with us and we all are like family to each other.

Extensive knowledge of the subjects is not necessary, you do need to be able to look things up online though. That means posting would take up more of your time if you did not bring any background in the subjects with you.

We have a main poster who oversees daily posting and recommends the raises.

Expansion into writingabout these topics for web based business or other web basedjobsis also possible, depending on performance.

We are a constantly growing outfit andhave been online for 6 years.

We periodically meet in Las Vegas, all expenses paid.

So if you arewilling to start small, and self motivated to make something better of it, give us a try.

If you need an immediately well paying job, this is not for you. We are looking for new people to grow with us. This is a platform for your creativity and the more you can offer the more you will be paid. We want someone to become a permanent part of our team who is able to grow with it.

Oh, of course you never pay us and we always pay you.

Your first chance for real advancement will be in the fall, when we will have another meeting in Vegas and can get to know you better.

Please PM me if you are interested.

I am a 24 year old working for a large energy company. I am a contract analyst and I am currently planning to attend classes in order to write contracts for them. I have a double major in English (emphasis in Writing) and Psychology. I am extremely responsible--seriously--It's a problem. I can send many more writing examples if you would like. I work from 7 am until 5 and usually spend until around 12pm writing from home. i am new to free lance writing, but I have blogged for a museum before, and I'm developing a local magazine focused on art and culture. I would love to be part of a long term writing venture that is focused and has communication between the writers. Please contact me and let me know if you are at all interested in bringing me on board. I am not looking for large paychecks - just the opportunity to have my writing out in the world. Thanks so much for reading this!!
