Looking for constructive criticism and I'm not going to feel bad if you don't like my novice abilities! lol Just need some feedback on my main blog. The link is in the sig line

Do you like the colors?
The layout?
What would you change?
Would you follow me? Not asking you to... just want to know if you were to stumble onto my site, what would or wouldn't prompt you to follow this blog.

From a mother who plans to homeschool I liked it. It was fun and personal. But if you are planning to get advertisers you might need something more professional.

What are you trying to accomplish with your site? It might make it easier to give you a more realistic rating or opinion.

Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to switch to WordPress and pay someone to create a professional looking site for me. I suspect that all the little do it yourself tricks I've learned could be slowing my site down. It loads too slow.

I definitely want to draw in advertisers and new followers too. Have a lot of work ahead of me.

I liked your blog template, but as a first time visitor, it seemed very busy to me. I could see myself looking at the home page very closely every time I visit and seeing something that I missed the first time. But that too, can also distract attention away from the key information you want to communicate.
