Default If you could as a problogger anything, what would you ask?

I'd love to have your help on a project I'm putting together to help new bloggers get their start.

If you could ask a successful blogger any question, what would you ask?

How do you find niche sites?
How do you create ebooks and make money?
What tips can you give to help bloggers stay consistent with their posts when they run out of things to talk about?

I'd ask him/her to take a look at my blog and tell me what I could be doing better/differently.

I would ask him two questions:
1. What are the most important things that a blogger must avoid?
2. What are the most important things that a blogger must do?

This thread sure gave me some great post ideas.

I wanted to answer this one, though. I've been a pro blogger for nine years and I literally have long LISTS of things I can't find time to write about.

My suggestion is that if you "run out of things to talk about" you are in the wrong niche! Either you don't have the expertise to be writing in that niche or you don't have the interest. Or both!

Find a topic where you have lots of info to share, that you keep learning more about, that you love, that you can't stop talking about. That is a niche in which you will find success.

P.S. One of my dear, old friends was working for a corporate magazine. But she loved scrapbooking. She loved doing it, she loved talking about it, she loved everything about it.

Finally she mortgaged her house and started a scrapbooking magazine. People thought she was crazy. But it became the biggest such publication in the world, Creating Keepsakes.

She sold the magazine years ago, but she still talks about scrapbooking. Her perfect niche.

P.P.S. I hate scrapbooking and she's still my friend.
