Default Promoting Your Blog Post

I'm trying to come up with a system to promote each blog post I make.

What do you do? I post and copy to my two blogs, submit to an article directory and post to my FB page. I know there is a lot more you can do with your own content, so I'd love to hear what you do.

I'm just getting into submitting to blog directories, so your feedback on that would be great.

You aren't posting the same article on two different blogs, are you? I wasn't clear about that from what you said.

I use Redgage for backlinks. And tweeting on Twitter generates traffic. Look into triberr where you cooperate with a small group of trusted bloggers to retweet each others' material.

I also sometimes link my blog posts on my Google +1. And whenever possible I link to blog posts in my other articles.

You should check out the Smart passive income blog by Pat Flynn. Look to the side for his links to the Niche Duel he took part in. He goes into detail about his backlinking strategy, I'm reading it now and it's really helpful! It shows how he went to #1 on Google in like four months. His blog is really helpful, you should check it out. I'm just now reading it, so I haven't got to try any of it yet, but it makes sense how he describes it. Better than any other explanation I've read.

I tweet my blog posts and use @ before my blog name. If I talk about a company I use # before their name so they might see it and follow me in return. Of course having followers to be able to see them is always a good idea. Lots of times if you follow somebody they'll follow you back so if you find someone on Twitter within your same niche then follow people that they follow and see what happens.

Great tips! I also use directories. Ones that are related to my niche and business directories are great too. Join forums that are related to your topic, social bookmarking helps too. Also use RSS sites.

Whenever you add a new post advertise that with a link to the new post on Twitter and Facebook. Also, take advantage of article directories like Hubpage and EzineArticles. They will help you build a following and you can also provide links to the websites you are trying to promote in the content you write. You also have to be patient. It takes time to really build traffic if you want to do it the correct way. Good luck.
