You remember the old saying about how a watched pot never boils? I've been only checking my affiliates periodically to see how they're doing and sure enough I'm starting to see some progress. Anything is a crap shoot. Other than link share, another good affiliate program is kolimbo.com. They are always adding new affiliates to their list (this is where I signed up for Benefit Cosmetics). They have great communication as well which, to me, is as important as the financial gain.

I agree with Susan, affiliates that were doing nothing before, are suddenly perking up. (oOh and Benefit Cosmetics actually contacted me directly to be an affiliate! woo hoo!) These are my money makers: Adbrite (where people can place text ads on my blogs) BlogAds (people can place ads and a picture of their products on my blog) Google Adsense Picasa (where people download free photo software) Kanoodle Qumana Linkshare(has a variety of companies you can affiliate with) Chitika e-mini malls Benefit Cosmetics <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> <!-- var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //--> Edited by: CBBBShannon |

I have an affiliate program with my site www.kalliskreations.com. Adsense is good also.

So do most affiliate programs work by you recieving a piece when folks click through an ad on your blog and buy something?
I see adsense works on the traffic that comes to your blog. Are there any other affiliate programs that work like that? |

<!--
var SymRealOnLoad; var SymReal; Sym() { window.open = SymWinOpen; if(SymReal != null) SymReal(); } SymOnLoad() { if(SymRealOnLoad != null) SymRealOnLoad(); window.open = SymRealWinOpen; SymReal = window.; window. = Sym; } SymRealOnLoad = window.onload; window.onload = SymOnLoad; //-->All affiliate programs work by you getting a commission based on pre-set terms. Meaning, if it's like adsense you are to get paid via per click, then you get paid per (legitmate) click. If it is someone like Commission Junction or Link Share affiliate companies, then you get a commission based on what that company says is their commission rate (which varies from company to company.) Also, many companies have bonus promotions as well. Ie. if you sell X amount one month and then double it the next, then you get a higher commission amount. One company I am with says if I get them 5 legit leads, then they will give me a $500 bonus. HTH |
