Hi Melissa,

You are right, Simplesahm's link doesn't work as it is written. I hope she catches this and modifies the link.

I tried to go to your lens, but it shows that it is under construction. You have to Publish it before the public can view it. But don't publish it until it is quite substantial. There should be no less than four modules in addition to your guestbook and intro modules.

Note to all: as I mentioned in the original thread post, it's a good idea to create a guestbook module. Few will rate your lens if you do not have a guestbook where they can let you know that it was them that gave you five stars.

Lens masters like to let you know this so that you might visit their lens and do the same. I only star something that really stands out. That's just a personal choice. I'll still sign your guestbook regardless of how well your lens matches up with the better lenses.

Put a guestbook in your lens and make it the very last module so no one will overlook it

What types of links do you generally put on your lenses? I am thinking about links back topages that have a lot of disney stuff. Or should I link to otherdisney lenses instead?

Hi Melissa,

Thank you for the sweet compliment in my lens guestbook I really like your Disney lens.

I put up monetization links such as Amazon or private affiliate links. In the future I will create a music blog and a music website and link to them. Squidoo has a ton of monetization modules that you can add and develop.

I make sure that I have a lot of original text modules inbetween my monetization modules so that it doesn't look like a spam store. As you have seen, I also have several interesting pictures, videos, and polls that folks love to vote in. I thrive on variety. I've also added a few coding tricks since that is what my degree work was in. I love web design

I would create some other Disney sites. You might create a Disney blog at WordPress. Or you might host a Disney blog or site. I'd send folks to your own sites when ever possible.

I have made a few lenses lensrank has jumped up and down on them. I primarily use my frugal mom living the good life as a link of my main blog.

I did add a Guest Book. Thanks for the suggestions, all.

BTW, I tried to ad a lead capture from my autoresponder (GetResponse) as was suggested elsewhere. It showed up, but the entry fields weren't there.

Anyone else done that successfully?
