I applied to become an agent about 3 weeks ago......did all the preliminary stuff and got this email back....see below. But, I have not yet heard ANYTHING back from them. Is this the usual amount of wait time ? Or, is it not looking good for me ?? !! Should I contact them ? Any help on this appreciated :-)
Your application has been received and you are now in our Agent Database! Once you have completed Parts 1 and 2 of our online testing, the application process will be complete. You will then be notified by email once your application and testing have been evaluated. Please be aware that it can take a while to hear from us initially, and though it is not possible to provide an estimate, we will be in touch as soon as possible. We ask that you do not email regarding your status, since we will only be able to provide you with this same information. We recommend that you save this email for future reference, as it contains the login and password you will need to make changes to your application in the future. Please be aware that we will always contact you initially by email, so be sure to update your record if your email address, or any other pertinent information should change. |

I remember when I initially applied with them in 2006 I did not hear back from them about a position until at least a year later. I definitely would apply to other positions while waiting to hear from this one. There is normally a long wait list to get on with them depending on the type of projects they have available and your skill sets. The company is great to work for thus many people choose to stick with them as they are not a revolving door type of company.

I applied back in 2006 and just got an email for my first interview last week, I would advise looking into other jobs while you wait to hear back. Good Luck!
