Create a website about your life as a stay at home mom. Most bloggers are successful in areas that they are most knowledgeable in. Just have fun with it and post regularly. Maybe you could share recipes, write product reviews, post videos of your children, etc... You can make money in any niche as long as you're dedicated.

If you go with Carla's suggestion you might want to pick one specific aspect of being a stay-at-home. There are so many BLOGs out there, you'd want to find a niche where you can become a trusted expert. I would make a list of things you're interested in, good at and knowledgeable about and start googling to see what topics are not well covered. And don't forget to start building up your name on forums, youtube and wiki sites.
Also, it feels unnecessary for a WAHM, but do draw up a business plan to keep you on track. It can be hard to stay focused when there is a household of things to do and you don't have goals for your business. |

I would say, create a blog about anything that you like and want to write about. You will enjoy writing it and money will come from ads.

You could also start an online directory. Maybe one for childcare providers or something that you are interested in. Any online business takes that same amount of effort in developing and marketing it as a brick and mortar business. As mentioned, you could sell items like candles, clothing, etc, but you still need to have time and some money to go for marketing and development. You still have to generate a business plan and marketing plan and allow it time to work.

Get into blogging, then look for SEO and Affiliate Marketing. Some people make loads of money this way, I am one of them

You could also do something like Hubpages. It takes time to really start making money though. You would probably need a few hundred articles to have regular income.

As you look at everything everyone else here is suggesting, which are great suggestions, when you commit to a blog...commit. Blog at least 3-5 times a week.
That's just the very beginning. You can get detailed information from a book you can get from amazon called "Getting Traffic To Come To You" on How To Get 500+ Unique Visitors To Your Blog In The Next 29 Days...Guaranteed! And that's when you haven't even started your blog, yet. I hope that helps! |

Find an exact match keyword that is searched on. Buy the domain. Put up at least 10 pages of content. Submit to Google directly or take a less direct route (comment with your link on forums). Put affiliate links on your site. Build more content. Takes time but it works.
