Default Need help with Captcha

I have built my own website, and have it up and running. I have a form on it and would like to put Captcha in it, but I am a novice and I do not understand javascript or even how to get it. Could someone, please explain to me in plain simple English how to put Captcha on my form.

Thanks so much,

Not sure 'Plain English' and 'Computers' go together very well haha!

This website was helpful for me. How to put a captcha on your website.

Thanks for the help. You're right, they don't go together very well...lol...

I took a look at your site, and sure would have been interested a few years ago, when I sold Tupperware.

I have been trying to use the information, but I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly as it has not worked for me.

I've been copying and pasting everything into the web page that my form is on. Is that the right way to do this?

I haven't looked at the site she posted, but any chance your site is built on WordPress? If so there's some really good plugins that'll do the job for you.

Ruth, how did you build your site? If it's Wordpress then you shouldn't have a problem finding help by googling it. There are plugins but there's also tutorials to teach you how to drop the script in and where to put it. Usually it's a matter of copying the code and pasting it into the correct file on your dashboard. If you have to upload a file then you can't do that off the dashboard and it takes a little longer to learn how to do it but again it's not hard.

I used Nvu to create the site. I've heard of Wordpress, but do not know what it is. I've done the copying and pasting of the instructions, but for some reason they end up showing up on the site.

Ruth,

I don't know what Nvu is, but I've been doing web development for a while so I should be able to figure it out. PM or e-mail me and I'll give you a hand with it off the board.
