Default Transfer from Blogger to WP

If I transfer my blog from Blogger to Wordpress.com (free blog), will my blog look exactly the same??? I have put many months of work into this blog and would hate to have to redesign it again. I would love to just transfer it and then for it to look exactly like my blogger site. I have never done this and need to know what's the worst case scenerio. Thanks!

As far as the design goes, it would not look the same. You would be using their themes. You would still have the same posts.

Don't forget that if you have any possible monetization plans for the blog, either now or in future, wordpress.com is not a suitable home for it at all, because of their terms of service (restrictions that don't apply at Blogspot or if you self-host Wordpress, even on free hosting as long it isn't their free hosting!).

Why are you wanting to switch from Blogger to Wordpress.com? Both of those are free programs and they use their own themes and have slightly different layouts. If you are wanting to upgrade, I would go to wordpress.org as there are tons of themes, tons of plugins and tons of support available on the Internet.

Please you can only transfer the posts. If you want the Wordpress to look like the Blogger, then you need to design a new theme for the Wordpress blog. You can do the editing from your Wordpress php files. You can locate these in your CONTENT/THEMES/ files.

Please what do you ant to change? The text? Then you need to go to the CSS file and change to the font color, style or color you want.

If it is about the Graphics, you can change them at the header.php.
