Since I'm a web designer and use my computer for a business, should I upgrade pro edition or will home edition be ok? I'm not sure what the differences are.

You could check Microsoft.com and see if there is a comparison list between Pro and Home edition of Win7.

I'd agree with Sophia, just look at their comparison list. As for waiting, there's really no reason to. I'm a software developer/web developer and upgraded to Windows 7 before it was launched to the public (it launched first to members of the MS developers program) and I have had 0 problems with my upgrade. It's a lot faster than Vista, easier to use, and it looks a heck of a lot better.
