Party Plans/Monthly Specials announcements

Previous moderators had allowed a Monthly Specials thread to be created each month in this forum.

Currently we have many sales reps posting specials in rep forums that usually get deleted as spam when reported for breaking the rules. As opposed to deleting as advertising spam all the time we were trying to move them to the Party Plan forum and merge them with the Monthly Specials thread for the appropriate month. This of course is confusing to the reps who never visit this forum and also a lot of work for the moderators who usually direct advertising to the Promote your business forums.

Ideally, monthly specials are advertising (and in this forum, it is with the caveat that no links are allowed). In the spirit of Party Plan shopping, we would like to continue to allow this program by adding a Party Plan Monthly Specials forum to the Promote your business forums where we will add one thread per rep forum for people to add their monthly specials to each month. It will offer another opportunity for sales reps to advertise in the more visible Promote your business area at the top of the forum. It also guarantees more visibility in that it will not be combined with the advertise your business threads that are a mix of all kinds of business opportunities, affiliate programs etc.

Look for this forum to be set up in the coming week after the holidays.
