No, I left a previous company because I had trouble making the quarterly minimums without buying inventory myself.

Prices have gone up but I've still been able to make my business work just fine.

For those of you who are with a company where the prices have gone up, how do you keep your business and party averages healthy, especially in this economy?

I don't think price should be to much of an issue. There will always be people who will not buy products that they think are to expensive, just like you'll have people who will not want to by things with a cheap price tag, because they think they products must be cheap.

My company has both affordable items, at the $20 to $35 range and higher priced items up to $200 plus. The higher priced items make great incentives for clients to book shows...they can earn for half price or free.

I actually left my last business, who's products are super super affordable/low costing to Gigi Hill Bags, which carry a higher price tag. I'm super excited about the possibilities that I have and price is not an issue!

I believe that if the quality of the products remain the same, the price increases won't really matter that much.

I did, but I was in a unique situation. I was dealing with a US company in Canada, and the Canadian dollar was dropping and I was having to charge customers an extra 10 - 25% so I wasn't losing money due to exchange.

I left a company before because the cost of the shipping was so much for their product. In order to make any money I would have had to raise the price of the product so high I wasn't comfortable with it.

I left a jewelry company for prices of products too high compared to the quality of the items. Price I could almost work with if quality was there..... pretty embarassing when everyone in your neighborhood is coming to you with boxes of broken stuff!!!!

I love my company now since the prices are about 50% off retail!!!!
