If the price is too high then there could easily be a competition issue. If another company is selling the same products for much lower, the reps have to work harder. This happened to me in the romance biz. Companies sell the same products, some relabeled. I was with a new company that priced their items too high, I ended up leaving and they closed having not lasted even a year. :/ I'm pretty certain this played a part in their closing.
