I have a friend that had signed up with them. The concept is great and she had a good response. I believe the issue was her distributor. I am not exactly how it all worked but it seems she had issues getting the inventory that was ordered from her distributor.

She is not doing it anymore. If you want her info to ask questions, just send me a pm.

I'm familiar with the Miche bags. I had been to a party and considered joining on until a friend of mine introduced me to Madison Handbags and I fell in love with the concept of designing your own handbag! I really loved that they were made in the US and that there was so much potential with a fairly new company. After going back and forth between the two I ended up going with Madison and I'm so glad I did!

Our sales consultants earn 20-30% commissions based on rank. We also get cash bonuses based on sales goals and the company offers tons of contests and incentives like trips, jewelry, and of course free handbags! We're a fairly young company that's rapidly expanding with smart growth so there are groundfloor opportunities still in most parts of the country! I don't want to overwhelm you with info right away but check out our website and see for yourself. Our handbags are GORGEOUS and practically sell themselves! Message me if you're interested in learning more about us!

I looked at the Madison Handbags and I LOVE this idea! My one complaint about the Miche bags, is there aren't enough sizes to choose from. So, Madison has lots of choices!

But, I think if you do fairs and shows, Miche would be easier for cash and carry. The Madison bags are more personalized and you would need to place orders for that.

Just my two cents!

I do fairs occasionally and I'll either sell my retired bags, extra bags, or accessories as cash and carry. Sometimes someone will place an order at a festival but when I do those types of events I really just focus on booking parties!

Madison Handbags are made in the USA. This is a plus in my book. The information on the website states it takes about 6 weeks for the purses to be sent to the customer. Is this correct? I do not know if this is AVERAGE for this type of customization. Also, are the fabrics thick like upholstery fabric?

We say to allow 6 weeks for the handbags to be made. I'd say on average the turn around time is definitely quicker than that, probably about 4 weeks. We actually recently added a second production shift to help the turn around time.

The fabrics are designer quality and while they vary in thickness and textures, they are comparable to upholstery fabrics, quality curtains, etc! Most of our fabrics are year round, while some are strictly seasonal (spring/summer and fall/winter).

Default I Sell Miche Bags!

I've been doing Miche Bags for 2 years and I LOVE IT!

It's a growing company so new product lines are coming. But hey, we are doing great with what we have now!

Miche Reps can make a lot of money. One of my reps just had a $2,700 sales day and another one just told me she has almost paid off all her credit cards with her Miche money.

I'd at least give Miche a try if I was you.

Let me know if you'd like more info. I am also looking to expand my team in other areas (I'm in northern CA) so I don't know if you are talking with someone already.

Good luck on your new venture whatever you choose!

Karen Green ;-)

Hi Karen !
Thanks so much for the info. I actually have had some info sent to me by a rep who lives here in the Southeast so I will probably continue to be in contact with her, however thankyou so very much for the info on the Miche Bag opportunity !! It really does sound fantastic and I did actually go ahead and purchase a bag myself so I could at least try out the product etc. and see how it stood up to the daily wear and tear etc. Very impressed am I with the bag ! (I got the Stella shell with the classic shell !!).

Do you mainly concentrate on parties, or do you do mainly catalog / internet orders ? Or a mixture of both ? Just curious to see how the reps work their biz, as I am not a huge fan of just doing parties. I have been involved in direct sales for awhile, but never on the party side of things, so not sure if I want to go that route or not.

Thanks for any additional info !
Christine

Hi Christine,

I'd say the majority of our reps do home parties. They are the biggest money bang for the time buck. But Miche Bags are definitely the type of products that you can sell one-on-one or with mini parties etc. And once you start building that database of customers you start getting a ton of re-orders. Every month we come out with new product. Every month we retire old product. It keeps it exciting and our customers keep buying.

It's amazing! Apparently, women will buy purses no matter what the economy. Hallelujah!

I've never had such a high retention rate with a direct sales company. It is so nice to have happy money-making reps on your team! Who wants to leave when they are making money?! LOL!

Anyhow, I KNOW you will love Miche Bag! Especially, if you choose a good distributor!

And btw, I'm looking to expand outside of Northern CA if anybody is looking for something new. My team is currently #2 in the company so we must be doing something right. ;-)

Welcome Aboard Christine!

Karen Green ;-)
