Default CAbi

I don't know about Kika, but CAbi is pretty pricey to join, couple of thousand at least. Also, they have a limit on who can join. It is based on your zip code. They only allow a certain number of reps in each zip code. If you were going to try CAbi, now is the time to start thinking about it because they are at the end of their Spring/ Summer selling season and will be debuting their Fall/Winter line in August. They used to only take sign ups 2 times a year, but now I think they have changed that. I am sure if there is a CAbi rep on here they would be able to fill you in on that. Or contact the company.

Default Starting a kikaPaprika business

I can answer your questions about starting with kika. We are different than many DS companies and share similarities with Cabi because we sell clothing. Some points to keep in mind: our clothes are designed to fit a variety of body styles, shapes and sizes; we use eco-friendly materials like organic cotton blends, recycled water bottles and scrap wood - they are amazingly soft and comfortable; our clothes are made in the USA; we offer a custom color rogram where clients can choose many pieces in up to 11 different colors

We have a limited number of consultants join twice yearly - we are accepting applications now through June 30 for Fall/Winter which starts 8/15. We will bring on 50 new consultants nation-wide during this time. We are not just looking for experience - corporate offers all the training and support you'll need to get started - but we ARE looking for committed, consistent, focused women who want a successful business.

The above focus is good if you choose to join and plan to build a team - you're not recruiting all your customers/dabblers/hobbyists and losing those profits - just those who are seriously dedicated. You can still work part time or full time - your choice - but it isn't the type of thing you do "sort of" if you get my meaning.

I will PM some info to you and feel free to contact me directly with questions. I don't know how much info is okay to post here...I am still new to this so unsure.

Sue

Hey Sue -
I purchased a piece of KP about 2 1/2 years ago and really like it. I believe they are based out of Michigan but I wasn't sure. Can you tell me?

Thanks and welcome to the WAHM boards. GREAT people here!

Hello, tastefully MI!

While kika is not based out of Michigan (we are out of Southern CA), there are a few successful gals and a good team going in Michigan. Where or from whom did you get your kika? If you give me a better idea of where you are and a little about what type of consultant you like working with, I'd be happy to refer you to one of them if you need someone local to you.

Yes, I am enjoying the support and comraderie of WAHM.

Sue

I can't remember their names but I know they were treading some really new ground when I purchased my first piece. Sure, if you have a local connection I would love to get in touch with them as well as offer them some of the great networking opportunities we have here in SE Michigan.

Glad you're enjoying WAHM, Sue! Jennifer

I think I may have said this before, but their new look really reminds me a lot of Weekenders, USA which I loved before I became a CABi junky! There is nothing like soft, comfortable clothing that travels well and mixes and matches. I was kind of hoping that someday a company would replace the Weekenders, USA void. Nice line!
