I would be all over the spa party as I don't like tea!

Default Both!

I love tea - I would skip the scones due to my diet.

I also enjoy relaxing and trying new bath/body products, so that would be very enjoyable as well. For something like this, I think you just need to go with what speaks most to you. Would you like serving tea and scones or helping women have a spa event?

Do the one that gets you excited!

Good Luck!

Well, if I had to choose between the two, it would be the Tea Party. Mostly because I see everyone drinking tea on TV now and I am kind of curious as to why everyone seems to be liking tea. I am not much of a hot beverage gal (don't like coffee either) but I know there are some health benefits to drinking tea. So it would be nice to go to a party where someone could kind of teach me about tea.

I just don't care about going to a Spa party because I have sensitive skin and so much of what is offered is "scented or flavored" and that kind of turns me off of having to try everything. Plus, when I do buy something, I never really use it.

Which company's products, hostess program, party experience, and consultant excite you more? If you are enthusiastic about what's in it for you and your guests, then you will have a successful event. Which company's products are you and your guests more likely to use on a daily basis?
Individual consultants are important too; try "interviewing" the rep from each company. Is this somebody who would be fun to introduce to the ladies on your guest list? Does she have an upbeat, outgoing personality? How is she on product knowledge? How does she run her parties? Does she make herself one of the gang and casually circulate around the room, engaging guests in interesting conversations? Does she take the time to get to know you and the ladies you've invited, or does she see herself as an order-taker? You can have an event featuring the most fabulous products on the market, but if the consultant is a dud, then nobody will have fun and it will impact the sales (and, consequently, your benefits as a hostess).
Good luck with your decision and trust your gut!

I would do both! I have never heard of doing a tea party with scones (what products does this market? Tea cups? Tea? Scones?) but it sounds like a lot of fun. I love going to afternoon tea but only do it on special occasions.

Of course, I am biased so it depends on what company is doing the spa party. I am curious what other companies do for their parties so I would go for curiosity's sake but probably not buy anything.
