looking for free online places I can promote myself

I work for a paid survey company called cash crate. I really want to work on referring people under me. I am looking for free social networking /advertising places where I can do that. I found 20 so far which I will be posting at tomorrow. the more places and ideas the better.

I have posted at free sites like SalesSpider and GrenList but by far I have found the best free advertising for my time and efforts is Twitter. Get yourself a following (just start following others - target other WAHM's, online and network marketers, etc. and many will follow you back) and then use Hootsuite to set up posts automatically for you throughout the day and night. If you take maybe an hour or so each morning you can set up your posts for the entire day.

If you want to post a few times on Facebook or a Fan Page that you create on FB for your survey sites, you can use Hootsuite to post to those as well at times you select.

I post in forums a lot where they allow a signature. I also post to classified ads such as backpage and US Net Ads. I've also used safelist with some success. Remember the key is converting that traffic so you also want targeted traffic. For example when I use safelist, I used it from an angle of either helping people convert their traffic or I promote an affiliate program.

I'm not sure I if I would have the same success with safelist and traffic exchanges if I were trying to sell candles as that traffic is looking specifically to get sign ups for traffic exchanges or safelist.

I would suggest creating a free blog and doing multiple affiliate programs and sharing the value of the programs through blog posts.

You can share those blog posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Google plus.Those are all free.

Also you can the same posts on Craigslist, and any places that give you a signature.

If cash crate provides banners to use for promotion you an try some of the surfing websites that let you earn credits toward banner promotion. I have about 5 or six that I use. I built a downline of 25 in one HYIP strictly with this free tool.
