Question Tax Season

With it being tax season... Are you implementing it into your marketing strategies? People may have some extra wiggle room with their tax refund which may mean they'll have the funds to pay for consultant kits, start-up costs, memberships etc. What are you planning on doing as far as marketing if anything?

I am in the process of increasing my knowledge about this whole tax thing

But, I would like to learn more about how network marketing and tax season works...do people usually owe/is this included in the tax refund thing?

But to stay on topic, I plan to advertise more locally as a lot of people like to come out during this time and shop so I would like to take advantage of that by creating interesting ads, business cards, flyers, special events and etc..

Awesome!! I love that idea to make catchy flyers, ads, business cards even things to post on social media sites relating to tax season and how it's a good time to start your own business. I like how you think!

Now as far as doing your taxes and having a business and how it all works out-- I have no idea. I highly suggest talking to your tax person about that. I'm still learning myself.

Be very careful when designing flyers especially if even mentioning taxes. You could get yourself in some trouble.. As for questions about taxes consult your tax professional.

Oh for sure, I already have things in line from chatting with my other network marketing buddies. Just saying since people usually have some extra money at this time, it's a good time to get the word out about your business opportunity or whatever you're doing. And yes, consult with a tax professional for any tax related questions

Default Taxes

The most important thing I was taught about taxes in a network marketing/party plan business is to start with the discipline of setting aside your taxes with every commission check you receive. It's much easier to plan each month for taxes than to catch up at the end of the year.
