Default New at MLM

I've been working at home for a couple of years now but just running an Event that has been very successful in the city i live.. now I want to start making REAL money using the leveraging powers of MLM. I'm new to the industry but when I commit to something I commit 110% and am looking forward to my new carreer. Any tips from some old MLM professionals?

I recommend this book, "Your first year in network marketing: overcome your fears, experience success, and achieve your dreams!"

Also, be persistent and don't allow rejection hold you back.

Stay committed to your new business for at least twenty four months. It takes time and hardwork for any business (MLM/ Traditional) to grow.

Set your goals and write them down.

Don't allow yourself to get distracted by other business opportunities.

When you need help, ask for it. Take advantage of the training your company provides. Also invest in self-development, read books.

Work on your business everyday.

Recruit, recruit and then recruit some more. What your going to find out is some companies are not so much about selling the product but the goal is to sign people up and get them on an auto-ship for their product. Which is some respect is basically internal consumption. In that case most of the product sales or should I say a good part of them seem to go to the associates.

Personally when I look at a company I go by what was once told to me. Find a company that if you had to earn a living from just product sales you could if you absolutely had to make sales in order to feed your family.

Different companies have different marketing plans so each person should go where they feel is a good fit for them. If your a sales type go with a company that is strong on product sales along with the option of MLM compensation of a product or service. If your looking for straight MLM consider the auto-ship companies and recruit like you've never recruited before.

- Stay "plugged" into your Sponsoring Business Partner and their Upline Support Team. They are all invested in your success, so, don't be afraid to let them know you're following their training/support system or afraid to ask questions of them.

- Get in the habit of including marketing in your daily life whether it's online through Email Signature Blocks or through the use of Drop/Sizzle Cards when you're out and about in your community.

- A key one that someone mentioned earlier is to COMMIT to giving your new business more than a few months. I wouldn't say 24 months, but I would say atleast a year.

- Treat your new business like a business and not like a hobby. Have set hours of operation and a business plan.

Build an e-mail list and send e-mails monthly. Peoples' situations change. They may not be interested when you approach them, but months later, their situation changes, and if your message is still in front of them, they will join.

Best wishes!

Congratulations on your new business! My advice is to stay plugged into the company and your upline, join Success Club and set goals!

Question also new to MLM

Hello. I'm new to MLM and and new to this site. right now I'm trying to network through any website possible. But the thing with me is I'm not just looking for someone to be my business partner I'm looking for some that i can connect with, build a friendship with this person so that they can trust me. I have notice that people are not doing that much. When i was doing some research on how to go about recruiting people i only seen probably 3 people mention that. And with that being said. as i look into the people that are in my MLM business the too open you with welcome arms as if you were family the whole time. why is that i don't see that much with other work at home businesses?
