I think being happy and having things going good in your life makes it easier to concentrate and give your business your "everything "

I would say that if you are successful in what you do with your life (be that business OR personal), then this would certainly have a positive affect on how happy you are.

Work is one of the only ways that people today are able to validate themselves. Without work or a family, what do we have to validate us?

I'm happy to have the opportunity to be in business. I've had jobs before that were not fulfilling, so being able to do what I enjoy does contribute to my happiness.
