What is your favorite way to generate business leads?

Definitely social networking! I have a type B personality, so I feel more comfortable chatting with people over FaceBook, email, etc. Working my way toward Skype now too.

Do I have to pick just one? I would say Blogging, Using Safelists. A lot of people look down on Traffic Exchanges, but if used correctly, they can be a very effective way to generate targeted leads. I also like Social Media as well.

Blogging is a great and passive way to generate leads. The only thing that I dislike about it is that it can take several months before you build up enough traffic from your blog to generate a steady supply of leads. For me, time is money and I rather invest in paid advertising and receive several hundred leads a month vs. waiting around for my blog to build up. I still totally respect what people do with blogs, but I want to build my business as quickly as possible and keep the paychecks rolling in.

I love solo ads, bandit signs, etc.

Paid advertising is a great way to generate high quality, targeted leads that are business specific. If you know what you are doing, you can generate more than enough leads and do the math on it and compare to lead selling services and the price difference is astounding. Your leads (again, if you know what you're doing) will be a fraction of the cost.

I have several avenues for gathering leads. First I advertise on traffic exchanges where I can have prospect sign into an autoresponder. Then I can share products and marketing tips while building a list. Secondly, I create blogs for specific niches, and thirdly advertise on online classifieds.
