Default Share your "WHY"

Most of us come into this business and become marveled at the idea of being our own boss and making as much money as we want.

Now we all know that the road to riches is never easy. In order to push through the adversity and all the challenges that many of us face in this business, we all need a very strong reason for wanting to become successful. What we need is a WHY, also known as an acronym that stands for What Hurts You.

So what I would like is everyone to share exactly what it is that drives you. What are your motives for wanting to achieve success in network marketing? Do you want to retire your family? Fire your boss? Be able to travel the world? Describe what it is that keeps pushing you forward and prevents you from giving up.

The drive is being competitive. As for products I have access to many of the same products others in my industry have access to. As for my why? It's mainly lifestyle. I do know what I do can change a family's path at the generational level. What I like about network marketing is the ability to build a team and earn from the team production.

When it comes to travel I have access to many incentive trips so travel is by just producing. Fire the boss is the point when you can live off of your investment interest. Until anyone gets to that point be MLM or the job something is their boss. I don't consider residual MLM income for walk away purposes because that is controlled by the companies and basically our of our decision hands.

What keeps me from giving up? Wanting to reach my personal goals and helping others reach theirs. At this moment my thinking is at some point I would wind down but not leave my business interest unless I built it big enough where someone made me an offer to buy it with an amount I couldn't refuse.

My "Why"?

Hmmm....I'm unemployable! I hate answering to some else and working based on their schedule. LOL! Sorry, had to put that out there.

Seriously, TIME FREEDOM is why I do it. I spent 20 years in the Army where I was TOTALLY at the beck and call of Uncle Sam. Don't get me wrong, I loved what I did, but there were many a soccer game or a school recital I missed because of that invisible leash. The more rank you attained...the tighter the leash got. Now, I have more flexibility to be at home when my son gets home after school every day or head off to his wrestling tournaments. I love it!!

Have a blessed and prosperous day,

Cynthia

My "why" sounds so much like yours!

Grandkids.... I was always on the job... they had NO idea who I was and they are young for such a SHORT period of time.

Ive been with my company for 5 years now and 4 of them have been full-time at home (OMG) I really didnt believe staying at home and bringing in an income was a for real thing... figured they were all scams.

This is awesome - this site is awesome - and the support from others here is amazing!

Happy Holidays!

Thumbs up My why!

I love to work, take care of my family, help others, and make a comfortable income. so why not bring my expertise and drive to succeed at a home business that is basically mine to succeed with or to fail...I love the freedom to use my creativeness to build a business and to help others build theirs.

And one of the best parts of it is doing Forums like this where I can express myself, talk about my business, and connect with like people,....all while I sit by MY fireplace, at MY computer, sipping coffee on a Sunday morning!

To create a business I can leave with my family for their future.
and help others do the same.

I love the challenge of creating something bigger than myself.

Smile My Why

To work because I WANT to and not because I HAVE to. To have the time and enjoy spending time with my children, to travel and do things I want. To have the freedom to be able to do what I want when I want and not have any restrictions placed on me. I love to work collaboratively with other people and to help each other reach our goals.
