I am lost and not sure what to do. I want to make this work I want to work from home.

Oh and I work with a company that says we don't sell product and while we might not take the orders and the money we are at the very least selling the company.
I don't pitch family either. I network a lot. You WILL find people in your life that are interested. It just takes time. You can't hide behind the internet (that's what I used to do, lol). You just have to get out there. Strike up a conversation at Starbucks, the grocery store, etc. It will happen

I don't like the ones who lie about it. They overly exaggerate the product just because they want to recruit you and then a few months later their link is gone and no longer belongs with the company. If you loved it so much then, why did you quit. I want to hear honesty. Like the times when there are droughts and obstacles you had to overcome and I want to hear about the income. If you can't provide what you make, why would I be interested in joining. It's a business. If you're going to pitch it, provide everything you can. And stop responding with " I sent you a pm. " Thats the most irritating response of all. People like to read the info in the folders and not get harassed with 8 million pm's. At least wait until you engaged with their response in the folder. If they wanted a pm answer they would've sent a pm question.

Seriously...I understand what you mean, getting spam from social network
sites like Youtube, Facebook & Twitter.

Spam all in my email inbox, Voice Broadcast and some Junk Mail.

In the future there will be alot of Spamming through Texting.

It only going to get worst.
You were right, lol. It has!

In some cases that might be true but if someone asks a specific question like how much is the starter kit or how long have you been with the company etc and the response is "I sent you a pm", that is quite annoying because it usually follow up with 8 more reps from the same company doing the same thing because they are starving for a recruit. There are better ways than that to recruit someone. The first thing would be to answer the question lol. Just my opinion.

I get where you are coming from and before I used to be a bit turned off, but later I realized this is an approach used when people have not been properly trained on how to generate a steady stream of leads, so they could definitely use our help.

Nowadays, I have so many leads that I can hardly keep up with all of them. In fact, I do not even discuss my business opportunity with most people because I am selective in who I recruit.

I know people are eager to get their numbers up and bring people into their business, but I always encourage business owners to abide by the whole quality over quantity thing.

If you spend your time recruiting prospects that are not TOP quality, you will waste a lot of time when it comes down to building the business with them...and we all know time is money.

Default Excessive Pitching

Everything from here to my facebook, youtube, inbox, etc. I've never been so sick to death of being pitched to lol. It's so bad that you can hardly even buy a simple item from someone without them pushing the business opportunity on you several times. Geesh, I could never do that to my customers.

Anyone else blue in the face with being pitched to? I would love to take all of my contact information down and restrict my settings, but unfortunately, by doing that I also make it difficult for prospects to access me.

What are your thoughts and what do you do? Is it just me?
Two things that turn me off. Excessive Pitching and Upselling. I couldn't agree more, I got to the point where I wouldn't even go on Facebook for a while because as soon as I would accept someone as a "friend" they would be pitching me their biz op. I don't do that to people, don't do that to me.
