Yes jocelyn..if your sole and true objective is helping people out , you will always connect with people and will promote your business in a subtle way , which , in my opinion , is the best way to do it for maximum success...

Your blog's first impression will tell a visitor if it is a website full of value or just another website full of spam or cheap selling tactics..

I've put together a website with the focus on the home business and I'm thinking of adding a blog. For those of you that are experience bloggers would you suggest making it personal or writing about the business - or my experiences with the business? I've read several blogs that focus more on articles and others that write about products? Any suggestions would be great!

I suggest you focus on positioning your blog on helping network marketers--i.e.it should contain a ABOUT ME section which would be all about you and Your WHY ,,The rest should contain educational content aimed at helping network marketers in various areas like offline and online lead generation..lead conversion....how to personally brand etc....You can also have an opt in form on your blog so that you can build a list../ your own targeted database of prospects...
