Can anyone tell me what is involved in creating a forum such as this one here at Wahm. I know it takes money, time and people but I guess I'm looking to find out what goes into creating and building it. I know that I can Google this but I want ideas from people that I can connect with so to speak

Content
Content Content Then traffic, content, people willing to post, content, and more content. Think about the fact that less than 10% of visitors (even to a popular forum like this) ever post, or post more than a couple of messages. You better have some content that is active and keeps them coming back until the forum gets some traction. |

ty you girls! That's amazing only 10% post. I know this forum has been around for quite a while I really like how its different than most out there. I will check out SocialGo.com if I do start anything its not going to be just yet I'm just getting the facts etc right now.
I know you can kind of have a forum on CafeMom but it is called a group would that be a easier way to go? Maybe to start out? ~Linda
