Yes indeed. Very sadly, and until people learn to do "due diligence", and as long as people keep jumping into "ground-floor opportunities" and joining MLM's that aren't well established, with both genuine retail sales demand and a proven, successful, duplicable, simple business-building system which works reliably for all those willing to follow it, that won't be changing. All the more reason to have multiple streams of income, as we were both saying.

I remember years ago listening to a recorded call by dani johnson which really opened my eyes. She was telling everyone on the call to build your business-Yes but Never rely on your home based business income to provide for your family. When I reached my 2nd level with my company they flew me out to the corporate office for some bonus training with Dale Calvert. It was a great weekend and I learned alot from him and he too said the same thing... Both Dani and Dale said DO NOT quit your job when you start making money. The idea is to keep working your normal job that pays the bills and the income you get from your home based business is income you use for your retirement, taking the family on vacation, ect.

They both really sold me on the idea. From my point of view NWM companies will come and go but your skills will build your business over and over again. That is what I truly love about this industry all that matters is how you relate to people regardless of your age, education level, ect. It is an Awesome Thing!

Default Two MLM

I age to say it but I believe in multiple income stresms too..Especially when I can put tehm on overdrive. Do your research. There are companys that do not allwo you to twok two makee companyies, m=no jard it is.

the biggest thing they wont let you do is cross promote.... if your upline eve thinks you are..they will report you.... I love passive income, multiple income streats and I love networkmarketing but its so complicated.

I think I should be able to join any company I want whether it is competitive or non-competitive. However if the company should ask such a thing they must have some really good compensation plan that I can benefit from that would prevent me from regretting the opportunity to join other companies as I please.

Juts curious:
Do you all know which specific companies say you CANNOT be with another MLM?
I only know Shaklee says you can't be with another once you reach coordinator level.
And one of the jewelry companies..?can't remember.....
