I looked at dozens after being successful in one-Ameriplan, but really having to work so hard at it. I read many, many articles and posts and decided on my current one because the product was interesting to me and could work with my lifestyle.

I think you have to really like the product or at the very least the marketspace of the product. I wanted this to be something I'd be comfortable talking about on my FB and other social media outlets, since I spend a lot of time there anyway. Fun first for me this time around!

If you want the efforts you put in today to pay off for many years in the future, choose a company that has proven that it will be around for the long term. 90% of all network marketing companies FAIL within their first 2 years. You don't want to invest your precious time and resources in something that may not be in business next month, do you?

Does it have the cash that it will need to grow, to maintain a solid infrastructure, to attract talented management, to keep pace with technology and, of course, to pay your commissions.

Is the person who is introducing you to the opportunity committed to YOUR success?

Doug

I started looking for a home based business when my husband became ill and I knew that my full time job wasn't going to be enough to support us. I also needed something that I could fit in my already busy schedule.
My sister sent me an email telling me about Watkins. I remembered Mom and Grandma using the products when I was growing up. Watkins has great product and has been going strong for over 140 years. I knew this was the business for me.
I have been an Independent Watkins Associate for over 4 years and even though I can only work it in my spare time, the extra income has really helped.
Thats why I chose Watkins as my main home business.

That's a great story. Your had the motivation and drive to succeed. That is most of the success equation right there!

I chose a company after doing a lot of research and finding that it definitely has the staying power as well as the type of products that people want. I also liked the fact that their associates are not pushy at all!

Thank you, John. I work really hard at staying motivated. I believe in being positive and love to read things from authors like Jim Rohm. He is my favorite.

I didn't realize when I started thinking about a home business that there were so many to choose from. Research is definitely smart.
Did I come across as pushy? Excuse me.

No - but that is a great idea. I admired the woman I signed up with so in actuality I was signing on with her not the business.I am lucky - I love the company.
