Hi I'm new here and finding the information incredible. Dana, what I have found in business is people do really good with what they're good at and comfortable with, that is the best way to start at least. Then after time you need to slowly start taking yourself out of your comfort zone. Know what you are looking for because that will help you in your quest. If you are looking for sign ups or if you are looking for longevity. That is very important. Take time to study your field and become an expert because people will welcome your words when you speak/write, they won't shun them. Regarging your offline online question, if you are a people person then definetley getting out there and meeting people is for you. But if you are more of an online type of person then start with online. Just remember that both are an option and you should implement both at some point or time. But always test and try new things and before you know it you will have several methods that work extremely well for you that you can utilize and grow your business with.

My response to this question is simply, what works for YOU works for YOU because of who you are. You can learn skills to be effective both online and offline. I would be cautions of anyone that tells you that they have the solution. Because there is no one solution.
In todays world, a networker needs to use both online and offline methods. Simple as that. I follow teachers like Eric Worre at [link removed by mod] who teaches the importance of offline business building but even he realizes that he cannot function in todays media focused world without being online. He travels the world speaking about the Networking industry, but he also shoots training videos and posts them every day to keep his own business running. I look at my partner, who is younger than me, and he uses his iPhone and online social networks with ease and does not see any difference between building connections online than offline. Its a shift in the way things are done and its neither good nor bad....it just is. Last edited by cibermom; 12-02-2010 at 11:33 AM. Reason: remove affliate link |

I love Facebook. Did you know that if Facebook was a country it would be the third largest one in the WORLD??
That is a big audience. That is my basis for a good income. I am expanding out this year because I want a great income. ![]() Jan Hickling |
