Dear LHN Members:

Please accept our apologies for emails sent saying that
LHN is out of busniess. Those emails sent out by our
former president have been pre-mature. Yes, LHN is
having some financial trouble, but we are prparing to
move forward as best we can. There may be some changes
in the making, but commissions should be paid on August 15
as normal. We ask that you be patient with us and allow us
to get some things taken care of and we hope to have the
order form back live within a few days.

Please be aware that Shelly Ferree is no longer associated
with LHN. She has chosen to seek other opportunities.

The commissions "should" be paid on August 15th? The company isn't presently taking an orders?

This smells fishy to me. Not to mention that -- if the emails that went out from Ferree were really inaccurate, then the company would have responded IMMEDIATELY.....not waiting 5 days for the rumors to race around the Internet.

I suspect it's more true that Ferree was telling the truth and now the CEO is trying to get the toothpaste back in the tube.

From what I've been told by inner LHN-ers thats not the case at all.

They cannot reveal all,what is going on at the very top of course but I know that Jim Price has a stellar reputation and his past record is squeeky clean.

I really feel bad for him if thats the case,his reputation and whole company is on the line after ten years of owning LHN.

We can all speculate but we truly have NO idea what is happening over there.

Time will tell anyway.

I really do not know the reason for the lack of profitibility but there are other companies that have products/services that are unique and will help improve the health of many people both in the USA and International. I guess many of the LHN folk are looking for a new home now and I happen to know of one that I chose because of the wide daily product usage and weekly pay. Of course no BV shave was also important for me when I was looking. :-)

Well, I know nothing about this specific company, but I offer the observation (also made by others in other threads, I see) that in this recession, predictably enough, the MLM companies getting into trouble seem to be the ones whose monthly sales volumes are/were pretty heavily dependent on "autoship".

The obvious problem for them is that at the first sign of financial hardship, distributors earning less than enough to cover their "autoship" costs (and that's a lot of people, of course, especially among those who joined within the last few months) are understandably cancelling their autoship "for the moment" because it's an outgoing rather than an income-source. There are some companies, I understand, for which more than 90% of their sales is accounted for by "autoship", and unless they have considerable capital reserves or fast access to them, this can very suddenly make an absolutely huge difference to their short-term viability. The logic and its effects are fairly obvious, I think?

This can even affect well established companies, as well as recently formed ones.

I am casting no aspersions, let me clarify - and I have absolutely no idea whether that is/was a problem with this company in particular.

Interesting -- the plot thickens. I received this email from one of the industry "watchdogs" who's keeping tabs on the story.

This email is from the former LHN President making some pretty bold statements. From a legal standpoint, she's either pretty brave or pretty naive to be making such remarks to the entire LHN distributor force. -- TR

Dear members,

I will attempt to be brief, but you will be getting word that Mr. Price is apparently trying to re-open LHN? He is a desperate man, apparently arranging a private conference call to generate interest?

He told us only on Thursday to close the operation with the assurance that he would add $100 to each office staff on their final check......the severance package I suppose. He left the payroll checks on my desk early in the morning, avoiding contact with anybody and went to Florida. On Thursday we asked him why? Where is the money.....he replied, I am incompetent, this may be true, but I think mostly, he is dishonest.

Be most careful. He has less than 50,000 in the bank he has told us on Thursday, and owes commissions this month in the range of $140,000. He owes Peter Josling more than $100,000 for past due invoices, several thousand to other vendors, exact figures I am unsure. I have specific numbers on Peter's delinquency only because he has sought legal protection. See below. Peter has asked me as a friend to get it out of the building at LHN for fear that Jim will sell it at any price and keep the monies.....furthering his losses.

Yesterday, our alleged final pay did not clear the bank....... neither will your commissions, he wishes to continue to take orders this month to try and pay commissions to avoid lawsuits and figure out what he will do next month, this is my best guess.

He has never addressed you, the people of LHN, he is to be compared to the Wizard of Oz, a coward behind a curtain that pulls levers. He reminded us about five weeks ago that 'the buck stops here, not with Shelly." She takes bullets while he apparently embezzles our investment.

We will gladly disclose volume figures for the company in recent months as necessary......you too will be puzzled. Jim is in a legal battle with a former partner in LHN and stands to lose much. He has placed all of his assets in the name of others, and where he placed our monies, we are unsure. My speculation, though I do not know for sure, is that he took the assets of LHN and gave them to a family member or perhaps buried them in the back yard to avoid them being vulnerable. Again, we cannot be certain.

What I do know is that we have never seen the financial ledger, we do not pay the bills, we have never had any access to banking information...President means "Chief Cheerleeder" and nothing more.

Unless he is being dishonest with us....Jim cannot pay his bills, he directed his staff to turn away on Thursday a shipment of product because he could not pay.. If so, with banner volume for several months preceding, why did he not pay for his product? He has squandered the money the people of Martinique paid for payment to customs, he does not have the money paid him by the folks of Nashville for the advertising with the Prophets on a national TV campaign......it was just short of a threat to get the monies paid for Kids Against Hunger from him.....as well as a threat to get our earnings and commission for this month. The checks bounced.

I have said more than I need to.......I recommend that you run from any overatures. In my estimation he will not pay for July.....and only seeks to expolit more.....he likes foreign distributors, they are less risky.

I encourage you to charge back through your credit card company, or, if you have received the product, return as you will not recieve your earnings. Also, if you recently had auto-ship activated please go to your credit card company and block any charges from Liberty Health Net as he still has your credit card information and has started to re-activate the closed auto-ships.

The exception lies in those of you who very much want the product.....contact us as we can meet your needs for the Alligin and Heartfast at this time.....and more in the future.

His contention may be that we over ordered......do you recall the terrible backorder issues we have had in the past? I was focused on assuring it would never happen again.

His goal today is to generate as much income as possible to protect his assets that he will surely lose in court.

We have learned now that Jim's life is a string of broken business relationships.....I regeret assuring you he was Jim Priceless.

I have received hundreds of supportive letters yesterday, they will all be included as I compile the evidence as this goes to court.

I want to thank all of you for the support that you have shown me and my family in the time we have been here.
