Default What Do You Think Of The New Look?

So, I woke up this morning to find that the WAHM forum was back online and looking pretty snazzy! What do you think about it?

Sadly, we're all starting back over with a post-count of zero.

What do you think of the new design/format?

Tony

Same here! Not sure if this says more about your getting-up-time, or mine: funny thing, time-zones.

So far i like it. Looks like a nice clean, simple design.

It must be an enormous job to switch the software for a forum this size. I'm sure the people slightly taken aback by it will quickly acclimatise to it and come to appreciate its advantages, and that the techy people will gradually edit some of the features/issues you can't possibly start judging until it's all up and running.

I've seen a couple of people commenting on the print-size, but for me it certainly isn't any smaller - slightly bigger, if anything - (and I think you can always change that on your own screen by using CTRL+the mouse wheel, anyway?). I admit the pink wouldn't have been my own first choice of color, but then I don't wear pink, myself.

Doesn't bother me. The only times I ever looked at them were when reporting something as "spam", when the "number of posts = 1" or whatever stood out a bit. But that will soon enough still be the case by the time the "regulars" have a few posts on the board.

I've been fiddling with my profile: might not be able to do my "hand-written signature" in this software and will have to come up with a new gimmick: you have been warned!

I love that our signature and profile information were transported over as well. The 'Edit Avatar' function doesn't seem to work yet, though.

No, I think the "permissions" aren't set yet in the admin files; these are probably the default parameters we're seeing available now. They'll get there, I'm sure. At least we already have smileys, this is the main thing.

Where are you finding the smileys for the posts???

I'm completely lost although I "like" the new look. LOL.

My only complaint: The message threads themselves
could be a bit cleaner in how the post are separated.

Other than that, not bad!

I guess I am not seeing that the post counts are reset. It looks like all of your post counts are much higher than they would be if they just got reset. Perhaps this feature is fixed, or maybe I am not looking at the right thing??

Also, I noticed that the avatar feature isn't working yet. I like being able to see peoples avatars!

I like the new look except the white background. It's a little too bright for me. Post counts aren't changed for me either.
