I fell into being a VA. When I left my job to move to another city, two of the people I knew, a contractor and landscape architect needed help with their business so I started helping them. Now I am looking for more clients, one of my clients quit his business. It has enabled me to stay at home for two years now. Well worth it. Plus I have a lot of free time.

I have kinda fell into it myself. My DH runs a drywall biz and I do all his books and paper work. I have a friend that is a biz/tax coach and I help her with her paper work and she has started sending bookkeeping clients my way. If it wasn't for her I don't know if I would have a biz at all.
