A breif history on me:
I am currently working full time AWAY from home as a contract admin for a land development company. I have worked multiple WAHM jobs as part-time gigs, but nothing has ever seemed like it could make enough to justify leaving my full time gig away from home. I now have an adorable 3 month old little girl and would prefer to be at home with her, than pay 1/2 my pay check so someone else can spend time with her instead of me...silly me. I am very tech savvy, have worked as an office manager, property manager, bookkeeper, accounts payable, accounts receivable and as a pastry chef over the years. I've set up my own websites and managed my own sales online for my crafts (ebay and etsy included). I have my own office set up at home, including fax, phone, internet, skype, camera, video, and headset. I would also like to add that I have a BA and am fluent in English and Spanish. So here's my point, being a VA has always interested me, but I'm not sure where to start. I would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, recommendations, links, offers, what-have-you, on what do to to get rolling in the right direction. TIA from a very desperate new mom! You could check out job listings on sites like Freelancer.com | Online Freelance Jobs | Employment | Design | Outsourcing | Programmers | Web Design | Freelancers and see if anything meets your skill set. Creat a website detailing your skills and ther services you offer. You could also looking into jobs for translators.
I'm new to this too. So I'm sure some of the other folks on here can give you more ideas. |

Hello,
Sounds like you have an array of marketable skills. My suggestion is to visit the Virtual Assistant Forum. It's a fantastic resource for learning about the VA industry. There's ample information and advice on starting up your VA business and selecting the right niche for you. Thanks Amy Marketing For VAs |
